Do I need to confirm my email before I can publish?▾
You can browse and read immediately after signing up, but publishing, commenting, and following require a confirmed email, since it's also your account-recovery method.
What can my username be?▾
3-20 characters: lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores only. It becomes your profile URL and how other writers @-recognize you.
How do I choose which community to post in?▾
Pick the topic community that best matches your post when you publish — readers browse by community, so the right one gets your writing in front of people who actually care about the topic.
